Jordan Spooner
Real Estate Closer Team Lead
Jordan has been with The Real Estate Service Center since April 2018 and has more than 6 years of experience in the mortgage world. Jordan loves the fast-paced environment and especially enjoys the crew she works with. The wonderful clients she gets the opportunity to assist during such an important time in their lives is an added benefit.
Jordan was born and raised in Des Moines, IA, and is now permanently rooted in Bondurant with her husband, their son and their dog, Thor. She loves attending their son’s baseball and soccer games. She is an overly obsessed Chicago Cubs fan, and when it comes to college football, Iowa Hawkeyes all the way!
Stephanie Lee
Real Estate Closer
Stephanie came to The Real Estate Service Center in 2022 after working in the Mortgage world. Before that, she was a social worker and attended the University of Northern Iowa where she studied Family Services and Art. Stephanie enjoys helping others achieve their goals, and gets to have fun at TRESC while doing just that.
Stephanie was born in Nashua, Iowa (home of the Little Brown Church) and spent a lot of time traveling before choosing the Des Moines area to settle down. She enjoys spending time with her two kids and family, attending concerts and exploring Iowa.
Heidy Stevens
Settlement Agent
Heidy Johnson has been with The Real Estate Service Center since 2022 after working in the Customer Service world for 6 six years. Heidy loves to help her Buyers through their final important steps into owning their dream home and meeting all the different people is an added benefit.
Heidy was in Guatemala City, GU then moved to Prattville, AL, where she lived for 14 years. She then moved to Story City, IA then moved to Ames, IA where she studied Liberal Arts at Des Moines Area Community College. Roll Cyclones!
Heidy currently lives in Story City, IA with her fiancé, Joe, and three dogs, Samantha, Lacey Anne, and Alfie Ray. Heidy enjoys taking her dogs for evening runs, spending time with her friends and family, and exploring new places all over the world.

Jason Sandegren
Attorney
Jason Sandegren joined The Real Estate Service Center in 2026. Raised in Boone, Iowa, Jason earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Coe College before attending Drake University Law School, where he earned his J.D. in 2013.
During law school, he clerked for Iowa Title Guaranty in both its residential and commercial real estate departments. Jason has been licensed to practice law in Iowa since 2014 and is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association’s Real Estate and Title Law Section Council.
Kel O'Neal
Real Estate Closer
Born and raised in Des Moines, Kel is a proud Iowa girl, Hawkeye fan, and professional problem-solver with a knack for turning life’s little curveballs into something a little less chaotic!
With a combined 19 years of experience in real estate and the legal assistant world, Kel has learned a thing or two about people, patience, and keeping her cool when things get a little… interesting. She loves helping people, finding solutions, and turning a stressful situation into a pleasant experience with a calm attitude, a friendly smile, and maybe a little humor along the way.
When she’s not helping clients, you’ll probably find Kel tackling a crossword puzzle, painting something, cooking up a storm, or spending time in the garden. She’s also a proud mom of two, grandma to two sweet grandkids with a third little blessing on the way, and dog mom to two furry supervisors who firmly believe everything she does should involve them.
Kel believes in honesty, kindness, good communication, and treating people the way she’d want her own family treated. Her goal is to make every client’s experience easy, enjoyable, and maybe even give them a reason to smile!
Shay Steel
Office Manager
Shay Steel joined the team as an Office Manager/Legal Assistant, bringing a background in human resources, recruiting, and administrative support. She is passionate about organization, communication, and creating positive experiences for both clients and colleagues. Outside of work, Shay enjoys spending time with her family, writing poetry, and exploring creative projects.
